National Preparedness Month in Frontier?

September is National Preparedness Month
Last December, Fargo, North Dakota had reports of snowfall between 12.3 inches up to 17 inches recorded in the south Fargo suburb of Frontier. September is National Preparedness Month and encourages people to plan for emergencies and disasters.

- Extra batteries
- Whistle
- Dust mask (to help filter contaminated air)
- Plastic sheeting and duct tape (to shelter in place)
- Moist towelettes, garbage bags and plastic ties (for personal sanitation)
- Wrench or pliers (to turn off utilities)
- Manual can opener
- Local maps
- Cell phone with chargers and a backup battery
